I LOOOOOOVE Christmas movies! Every year I make it a point to try to watch at least one Christmas movie every day between Thanksgiving and Christmas. ABC Family makes it really easy to do that with ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas. Starting tomorrow, December 1, they have 25 days of jam-packed holiday-themed entertainment. The line-up features favorite films we have come to love, as well as original holiday episodes of ABC Family series. This includes the comedies “Melissa and Joey” and “Baby Daddy” AND, for the first time, drama series “Pretty Little Liars,” “The Fosters,” “Switched at Birth,” and “Chasing Life”.
My favorite type of Christmas movie to watch during this season is the often cheesy, but always super enjoyable, romantic comedy. I see several movies that are “geared for adults” on the list that I love like “Santa Baby”, “Holiday in Handcuffs” “Holidaze” and “Snowglobe”. I can't wait to see those that are new to me too!
Also at the top of my list are the Rankin Bass holiday classics. On December 21, ABC Family is airing a Rankin Bass marathon with timeless favorites like “The Little Drummer Boy”, “Santa Claus is Comin' to Town” and “The Year Without a Santa Claus”. I LOVE “Santa Claus is Comin' to Town” – – ♪ ♫ Put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking' out the doooooor! ♪ ♫
ABC Family is also treating us to some brand new holiday entertainment with the network-television premiere of the holiday movie “Arthur Christmas,” featuring the voices of James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie and Jim Broadbent as Santa, as well as the ABC Family debut of the new Christmas special “Toy Story That Time Forgot”.
Take a look at this super fun list of highlights and let me know which you are most looking forward to watching!
