Stock Up on Forever Stamps – A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned

Forever Stamps

As of May 11, the price of mailing a First Class letter through the U.S. Postal Service will be going up a penny, from 41 cents to 42 cents. Right now you can buy the “Forever Stamp” at the current price of 41 cents. The good thing about these stamps is that they will continue to be valid at the prevailing rate of mailing a First Class letter, even once the postage rate goes up. Sure, you’ll only be saving a penny per letter, but we all know pennies can add up. And, even better, you won’t have to bother with those pesky one cent stamps to add on to any leftover stamps you have when the rate changes! And better yet, if the price goes up even more during the next rate change, your Forever Stamps will STILL be valid!
