Do you like to make things simple and also save money? If you answered yes, then we have two things in common. I like to cut costs, because that means our girls can have more experiences and we can travel more. One of our monthly bills bugs me, the cable bill. I almost have to whisper the word, and I’m pretty sure my blood pressure goes up when we talk about it at our house. Thankfully there’s an alternative, the Roku Streaming Stick!
My favorite channel is Netflix, sure it’s not an actual channel, but I love the access great shows and movies. I’m a huge fan of documentaries so Netflix and Amazon Prime are my go to when I sit down to watch TV. The Roku Stick means that I won’t miss out when I am away from home. It works great for hotel rooms or with my laptop. Of course my favorite reason for loving it, it allows us to save money and cut cable out of the budget.
FOMO (Fear of Missing Out)? Strapped for cash but still want to be in the action? Roku is always streaming some of the most sought after events and music festivals. Building on the success of this year’s live-streamed Super Bowl, look for more “must see” events to make their way to streaming platforms.
