Relish! Make Menu Planning Easy

Simply sign up with Relish and each week they will send you a list of ingredients you need to buy at the store, and a recipe for each day of the week.

The recipes aren’t forced on you, though. You actually will receive 15 different recipes to choose from each week, and then you can scale them to feed your family, whether you need 2 servings or 8 servings.  The meals aren’t super complicated or time consuming to make. In fact, each meal takes just 30 minutes or less to prepare.  Do you have a dietary need? Relish can customize meal plans to accomodate vegetarian lifestyles, kid-friendly selections, dinner parties, and more.

How does it work? Sign up for Relish for $7.00 a month, or you can save and purchase a yearly subscription for $58.80 (only $4.90 per month!). You’ll receive an email each Thursday morning reminding you that you have a new menu. Just log into your account and choose your recipes. Drag the recipes into your weekly menu, then go to the grocery list tab and select what size you’ll want to feed (2, 4, 6, or 8). You can remove items from that populated grocyer list that you might already have, such as spices, and then print your grocery list. If you prefer to be paperless, you can email the grocery list to yourself.

There are several special features that come along with your Relish membership:

  • Add your own personal recipes to your favorites folder.
  • Edit side selection, choose a different side, an additional side or no side.
  • Keep all of your favorite recipes in your favorites folder for quick reference.
  • Search the database for tons more recipes. Search by ingredient, category or title.
  • Monthly freezer meals are an extremely popular part of the site.  Make a few recipes on a rainy day and stock your freezer. Relish even provides the freezer labels to print out and place on your meal!

  16. I usually plan a simple meal and I always garnish it up with mushrooms, or some other fresh vegetables, fruit, lettuce etc. just so it looks a tad different than the day before or the last time we had it. Relish is great idea.
