As a kid, we would visit my grandparents house almost every Sunday. Every week there were at least one or two aunts and uncles and associated cousins visiting as well. Our favorite activity was to play games and my Grandma had a big closet to choose from. Many of the games I remember from back then (it has been over 30 years!) are long gone, but some classic games still remain. One of these classic games is Mastermind. It has undergone some updates and changes in the 40 years since it was invented, but its still a classic codemakeing/codebreaking game that requires wits and strategy.
New from Pressman is a version of Mastermind specifically for the younger set – Animal Mastermind Towers. Designed for two players age 6 and up, each player secretly stacks their animal tiles in their towers. Then the fun AND the challenge begins. Who can guess the order of their opponent’s tiles first? On each turn you ask a yes/no question such as “Is the lion below the giraffe?” The first player to guess the order correctly wins!
