Your little ones can pick out which colors of Jolly Ranchers to use for each of the lollipops and drop the candies into the mold.
After an adult removes them from the oven, older kids can again help by putting a lollipop stick into each one. But be careful because the candy mixture will be HOT!!

To make your lollipops you can choose any colors of Jolly Ranchers, or if you want to stick with traditional Valentine colors of shades of red, I found that Amazon offers a big bag of all red Jolly Rancher candies in three different shades.

If you plan to give your lollipops as gifts or classroom treats, you can get this handy lollipop set that includes the lollipop sticks along with cellophane bags to seal over each lollipop with one of the included red twist ties. This will give your lollipops a professional, finished look!
🔁 Variations
To make Jolly Rancher lollipops for other occasions, you can use differently shaped molds. This mold set actually includes flowers, stars, swirls and happy faces along with the hearts.
If you want to get extra creative with your lollipops you can add toppings! You’ll want to sprinkle these on immediately after adding the stick so that they have a chance to stick during the hardening process. Here are a few ideas for toppings.

🥣 How to Make
STEP 1: Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Place place 2 different colors of unwrapped jolly ranchers in each cavity of the heart mold.
STEP 2: Place mold on a baking sheet. Place in oven for approximately 7-8 minutes. Keep a close eye on them and remove from oven once melted.
STEP 3: Once removed from oven, immediately place a stick in each lollipop.
STEP 4: Let cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes or until hardened an then pop out of mold.

- You MUST put the mold on a cookie sheet before placing in the oven. The mold is flexible and trying to remove from the oven without a cookie sheet for support can be dangerous.
- Be sure to press the sticks all the way down into the mold so that the candy hardens around the stick.
- Cool completely before attempting to remove from the mold so that your pops maintain their shape.
